Hi, my name is Rebecca Handelsman and I'm so happy you're here! Healing with massage and bodywork has been my passion for many years now. It is my honor to work with you on your path to wellness. I am passionate about women's health and wellness- inside and out. I love working with people from all walks and stages of life to peel back the layers and reveal your true authentic divine self! Ladies, let's NOURISH, FLOURISH and THRIVE!!

I began my massage studies in Asheville, North Carolina, and continued my education in Lakewood, Colorado, completing my Associates' Degree in Massage Therapy; focusing on Cranial Sacral Therapy, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, and Oncology/Medical Massage.

With a deep reverence for the divine and sacred feminine within each individual, I approach massage therapy as a holistic journey of nurturing the mind, body, and spirit. Over the past 14 years, I have dedicated myself to understanding the intricate connection between these aspects of our being. I have discovered that the body responds profoundly to gentle nervous system balancing techniques harmoniously integrated with deep tissue massage and energy clearing. This integrated approach creates a sacred space where the body can unwind, heal, and flourish on deep, transformative levels. I am immensely grateful for the opportunity to share this healing journey with my clients, witnessing the profound transformations and connections that unfold along the way. Each session is a sacred exchange, honoring the innate wisdom of the body and nurturing its capacity to thrive.

My own experience with numerous hip surgeries has expanded my appreciation for the human body, and greatly humbled and deepened my gratefulness for this path of work. Several of the modalities I draw upon include Swedish, Deep Tissue, CranioSacral, Lymphatic Drainage, energy work, intra-oral TMJD, stretching, breathwork, Chakra balancing, and medical massage. It is my intention to create an atmosphere that fosters health, wellness, growth and compassion.

Over the past 12 years, Vital Roots Massage has worked with various populations within the realm of therapeutic massage and bodywork. Rebecca has enjoyed practicing in spa settings, providing oncology and hospice support, attending outdoor sporting events, performing Thai massage, offering many years of corporate chair massage, medical massage, energetic massage therapy, and much more.
